National Park Research Project
What is a National Park?
A scenic or historically important area of countryside protected by the federal government for the enjoyment of the public or the preservation of wildlife(help keep wild animals and plants from going extinct). Task 1: The Bulldozer Company wants to take away all the national parks. They think that the parks are useless and that there is no need for them. The company believes wild plants and animals will be fine without the protected areas. Your task is to research one of these national parks and then write a letter to the Bulldozer Company persuading them to NOT destroy the park you chose. Be sure to include the following points in your letter:

Next you will create a visual piece to your presentation by creating a brochure that could be printed and put on display for people to grab at the parks. The brochure must contain a description, why the park is important and it should be kept, a list of things to see or do at the park, at least 3 pictures, and any other facts or information you think is important for people to know.
See the teacher for an example.
